Embracing the Small Town Charm: Life as a Creative Professional in Boulder City

As I sit on my desert-pueblo style patio, sipping my coffee, I reflect on how much my life has changed since becoming a creative professional in Boulder City. Working from home has its perks, but it means you need to create your own oasis of inspiration. Lucky me, the small town charm of Boulder provides plenty of inspiration. My beautiful 70’s townhouse, my favorite coffee shop, and popular local shops keep my mind teaming with ideas. So if I am not at my 9-5 social media job, here is where you might find me.

Dam Roast House: The Coziest Coffee Shop in Boulder City

When I need a break from work, I love taking a stroll through the charming streets of Boulder City. The desert-style cottage homes never fail to spark my creativity and imagination. And when I need a caffeine boost, my go-to spot is the Dam Roast House. Not only do they serve up amazing coffee, but they also have a cozy bookstore attached: Browder Bookstore. It's the perfect spot to reconnect with yourself. I always feel ready to tackle my next content and advertising project with a fresh perspective.

Order my drink: High Scaler with Oatmilk and 1/2 the chocolate syrup.

After-Hours Must-Do: Beer Zombies and Boulder Dam Brewery

Walking down the street after work, there are local shops galore! I enjoy taking a seat at Beer Zombies or Boulder Dam Brewing Co.

Beer Zombies occasionally hosts vendor events where you can find clothing, cookies, candles and more. At Boulder Dam Brewing Co., you will find the best beer flight in Southern Nevada. There are 6 beers on the flight and each is as delicious as the next!

Unwinding in Style: Enjoying Evenings on My Desert-Pueblo Style Patio in Boulder City

My little slice of paradise: my desert-pueblo style patio. It's a work in progress that I'm constantly tinkering with, but it's already the perfect spot for unwinding after a long day. There's just something about the warm desert air and the sound of the birds that helps me let go of the day's stresses. And as a creative professional, it's important to have a space where I can recharge and find new ideas.
